There was a spontaneous reaction of excitement
from residents of Otaakrom in the Atwima Mponua Constituency after the Ashanti
Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, together with the MP
for the area, Hon. Isaac Asiamah, made an unannounced stop in the
community.In demonstrating their love for Chairman Wontumi and Hon.
Asiamah, market women and traders, as well as people in their houses, ceased
their business activities chanting and making the change sign to prove they are
ready to vote against the NDC.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman and his entourage, including former Chieftaincy and Culture Minister, Hon. Sampson Kwaku Boafo as well as Andy Owusu, Special Aide to the NPP Chairman, are currently touring a number of constituencies across the region to embark on a house to house campaign.
The general response to the tour has been one of an excitement and alacrity from constituents who are eagerly calling for change in the political administration of this country.
So far the NPP Regional Chairman has visited over 7 constituencies including Bosomtwe, Ejisu, Effiduase, Ahafo Ano South East & West.
Others are Atwima Mponua, Asante Akyem North and Kwadaso Constituencies.
The Regional Chairman was also accompanied by a leading member of the party, Mr. Osei Kwabena
