The Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo has assured Ghanaians that he will not disappoint them if they should elect him as the president in the upcoming December 7 election.
According to him, he’ll never turn his back on the citizenry after they repose their trust in him and put him in the highest office of the land, saying he’ll serve the country to the best of his abilities.
The three-time Presidential candidate was addressing a mammoth rally at the Trade Fair Cemtre in Accra on Sunday evening to crown the NPP’s campaign activities towards the Wednesday’s polls.
The former Attorney General said his quest for power is to come and introduce policies and programmes that will enhance the living conditions of Ghanaians, and rescue the people from the hardship that they’ve been plunged into by the incompetent Mahama-led administration.
“We are coming to work for the progress of our country so that we can lift our people up and build a new Ghanaian civilization that is going to be the light of Africa and the wonder of the world. That is the task which is set for us to do, to liberate our nation from poverty, backwardness and deceit, and move it into the realm of progress and prosperity.”
