Arrest Collins Dauda’s brother or we effect citizens’ arrest -Peace advocate threatens

Samuel Ampomah, a peace and justice advocate, has called on the Ghana Police Service to immediately arrest and interrogate  Naaba Abdulai, who recently boasted on radio that he is an expert when it comes to taking the lives of others or he will mobilise people to effect  his arrest.
It would be recalled that Naaba Abdulai, a brother of Alhaji Collins Dauda, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, made a shocking revelation that he and some unnamed persons kill people every day, and will not hesitate to murder any supporter of the NPP who tries to attack members of the ruling NDC during the December 7 elections.

He also vowed to take the law into his own hands by dealing ruthlessly with the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyepong.

Mr Ampomah in an interview with the Daily Statesman said he could not believe why Naaba Abdulai is walking free weeks after making some disturbing comments.

“I can’t believe he is still walking free when in actual fact he should have been invited by the Police and seriously interrogated to explain his comments,” he stated.

Mr Ampomah stressed that from what was happening, he had no doubt that the security services, especially the Police Service, were being biased and that they only enjoy going after people in opposition who make similar comments.

“We know what happened to the man who was alleged to have taken pictures of NDC branded cars from his office on the Spintex road. If the security agencies find it important to arrest someone who was doing his civic duty by bringing to light state cars that had been branded in the colours of the NDC, then I charge them to do likewise and apprehend Naaba Abdukai,” he urged.

Turning his attention on the Peace Council, Mr Ampomah asked that the council be dissolved because it was no longer relevant.

“I think the Peace Council must be scrapped with immediate effect. I don’t see their relevance. They pick and choose what issues to intervene in. This is no good for our democracy at all,” he added.
