Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic
Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has issued a stern warning to President John
Mahama to be mindful of his utterances against him and the party. Addressing the people of Gomoa Akotsiin in the Gomoa East Central
Constituency of the Central Region Tuesday, Nana Akufo-Addo said the NPP has a
vision for the people of Ghana hence the President should be careful with his
comments towards him and the NPP.
President Mahama few weeks ago
described Akufo-Addo as a divisive figure who lacks the leadership skills
required to unite the country should he be elected to lead the country
Notwithstanding the backlash, Mr Mahama recently justified the attack claiming
Akufo-Addo tagged him as being “incompetent and visionless”.
But Nana
Akufo-Addo has responded saying: “Our president, you should be mindful of your
comments towards the NPP. You should know that we are people with a vision; a
vision for Ghana,” .
Nana Akufo-Addo said the Mahama government has
failed to fulfill any important promise made to Ghanaians, noting the only
accomplishment is electricity crisis, popularly referred to in Ghana ass
‘dumsor’. “There’s not one important promise that Mahama has been able to
fulfil.
I’ll tell you, the only thing that is associated with John
Dramani Mahama’s name that history will recall is dumsor”. |
