Ghanaians can’t live another 4-years under Mahama – Oppong Nkrumah

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ofoase Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said Ghanaians will have a hell of a time surviving another term of the Mahama-led government should the NDC party be re-elected.

According to him, the government’s not well thought through economic policies and programmes has seen the economy being mismanaged and has seen a huge section of the public reeling under economic hardship.

The ruling NDC is scheduled to launch its campaign on August 14 to outdoor its presidential candidate and outline the party’s activities for the impending December 7 polls. The launch would take place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium at 1300 hours.

The party believes President John Dramani Mahama deserves to be re-elected to serve another four years in office to continue his developmental agenda that has seen massive development in infrastructure across the country and improvement in several sectors of the economy.

Meanwhile, the Center for Democratic Development (CDD) has revealed in a survey that 70 percent of Ghanaians believe that the Ghanaian economy is headed the wrong direction.

Speaking on Peace FM, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah stated that the findings from the CDD survey is a confirmation of a well known fact that Ghanaians have rejected the Mahama- led administration.

He added that time is running out for the NDC government and further urged the public to rise up and campaign and vote the NPP into power to restore hope to Ghanaians.

“We are fighting for what for me is the second independence of this country. I urge all Ghanaians especially the youth, whose lives will be affected by the December election to take the polls seriously, they should give support to any polling station they can so that the NDC is voted.

If another four years is given Mahama to rule Ghana, I bet you Ghanaians will really find things very tough living under this heartless government.”
