The Northern Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bugri Naabu on Monday led the coalition of opposition parties in the Northern Region, to demonstrate against government in Tamale.
Along with him was the National Youth Organizer and Deputy Director of Communications of the NPP, Sammy Awuku and Anthony Karbo.
They organizers of the protest dubbed ‘Dimiiya’ meaning “times are tough”, seek to renew calls on government to drastically reduce what they have described as ‘killer’ electricity tariffs.
